History
Air Business Services, Inc. began as a flight school in Austin, Texas in 1986. The business evolved into a Fixed Base
Operation providing fuel, hangar and charter operations. Eventually, the assets were sold in three groups, hangar and
fuel service, flight training and pilot supply store. The charter service was retained and expanded to aircraft sales,
management and pilot services. The corporate name was changed in 2002 to Air Business Services, Inc.
Officers and Management
President and Director of Operations:
Marvin Ledyard began his flying career while earning a degree in Aeronautical Technology, School of Engineering at Arizona
State University. He now has over 40 years and 15,000 hours of pilot experience with Boeing 737, Citation 500 series, Beechjet
and King Air 350 type ratings. Marvin has owned Cessna, Piper and Aero Commander dealerships. He has managed several Corporate
Flight Departments.
Secretary-Treasurer and Customer Service Representative:
Linda Ledyard earned her degree in Business Management from St. Edward's University in Austin, Texas. She has been involved
with the aviation industry for 30 years.
